"My name is Valerie Taroni and I am 70 years young.
I had a total knee replacement in April 2011. The procedure was performed by Mr Pimpalnerkar. I was in Good Hope Hospital just 4 days and I had the best of care. Within a few weeks I was walking without an aid due to exercise and 2 sessions of physiotherapy. Within 4 months I could do all the things I couldn't do before my operation and without pain. I walk a lot, do all my housework and gardening pain free. It has changed my life completely. I will be eternally grateful to Mr Pimpalnerkar and his team.

The attentive care I received under Mr Pimpalnerkar was excellent. After doing the appropriate exercises I was discharged and I now walk unaided without any problems. Thanks to Mr Pimpalnerkar I consider myself very fortunate to have my quality of life given back to me and look forward to an active future.
